Lincoln Institute - New Marker in Bronson Park

New Lincoln Historic Marker Unveiled at August 27 Event All are invited to the unveiling ceremony for the new Abraham Lincoln historic marker on August 27 at 6 pm in Bronson Park. The original historic marker is being replaced with new and additional information about Lincoln’s Kalamazoo speech on August 27, 1856. The new marker will be placed near the Lincoln statue, which was installed in 2023. Free ice cream and bottled water. Music provided by the Western Michigan Brass.
