Officer VanHoose has served with the Michigan State Police as a Motor Carrier Officer since August 28, 2016. She began her career at the Niles Post after graduating from recruit school and transferred to the Marshall Post in November 2019. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous recruiting events and been involved in several initiatives, including stolen vehicle investigations, weight enforcement projects, and trafficking-related operations. Toward the end of 2025, she also became the Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) coordinator for my district. She is committed to using her training and experience to help identify, prevent, and combat human trafficking within Michigan’s transportation network.
